Junk Box Wars Grades 4-12
Teacher: Cassie Connin
Students will receive an objective that they will have to find the solution to using only the items in their junk box given to them at the beginning of class. This class will provide each student a chance to use their creative, engineering abilities, and problem solving skills all while having a great time. Points will be awarded throughout the year for tasks completed, wars won, and meeting objectives.

Gym Grades 7-12
Teacher: Ryan Eddy
Coming this Fall of 2019 in the LIGHT Homeschool Co-Op is a Physical Education class for students in grades 7-12. We will be covering basic physical fitness and stretches to maintain strength and stability and to prevent injuries. We will also be learning a variety of sport specific skills such as basketball, volleyball, etc.

Art Grades 7-12
Teacher: James Ford and Hannah Boelner
Each week students will work on a new project. Students will experience using different types of art media such as tempera paints, water colors, clay, colored pencils, etc. and obtain knowledge of different techniques. Each student will receive an understanding of how we can honor God through art.

The Gospel Grades 7-12
Teacher: Chris Robertson
Students will acquire a better understanding of God's great gift of salvation.

Speech Grades 7-12
Teacher: Pst. Bruce Jewett
This class offers the theory and practice in basic speech skills. Students will learn the fundamental tools for preparation and presentation in public speaking and be given the opportunity to apply what they have learned by speaking in front of the class by choosing from three of the following: persuasive speech, demonstration, devotional, memorized recitation and public prayer. Emphasis will be given to the main parts of a speech, platform, manner, non-verbal communication and vocal expression as well as overcoming nervousness and attentively listening to each presentation. A private and written critique will be given from the instructor to the students after their presentations containing both accolades and suggestions for continued improvement. A syllabus will be provided.

Biblical Finance Grades 7-12
Teacher: Larry Keck
This class is designed to help teens learn solid biblical financial principles that will prepare them to handle their money wisely, save for the future, and avoid debt, and give generously.

Photography Grades 7-12
Teachers: Karen Saxton and Kathleen Boley
Students would be taught the basic functions and uses of a camera, followed by learning how to edit photos, as well as the use of retouching and editing. Students will work together as a class to create a L.I.G.H.T Home-School Co-Op yearbook.

Prophecy Grades 7-12
Teacher: Pst. Bruce Jewett
What on Earth is Going To Happen? This class will be an overview of the Bible prophecy yet to be fulfilled, beginning with the rapture of the church, and continuing through the seven year tribulation, second advent and Millennium. Bible passages and books emphasized will be Revelation, Daniel, I Thessalonians 4-5 and ii Thessalonians 2.

Balloon Twisting Grades 7-12

Students would be taught the artistry of manipulating balloons into the shapes of various creatures for the enjoyment of children.

Home and Auto Repair Grades 7-12
Teacher: Pst. Fritz Kruse
This class was brought about by all the things you have to learn when you are out on your own. Things that are routine and important once you are a responsible steward of the gifts God gives. Topics will include: Building a basic tool kit. Basic power tool usage and safety. Fasteners, duct tape, and cable ties. How to jump start a car. Why fluid levels are important. Keeping your furnace running. Fire safety and security around the home. What happens when the toilet won't go down... and other fixes around the home and auto.
